Kaimānga Weekly Newsletter

Kaimānga is the chewed food mothers feed their babies to make digestion easier. It's also an analogy for breaking down information into smaller parts to make it more easily understood by learners. The aim with our Kaimānga Weekly Newsletter is to sustain teachers with a little bit of something useful each week.

Issue 63: 7 May 2012

FIND OUT EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TEACHER REGISTRATION...

In early March, we released the Registration Policy via kaimānga and our website.

This policy contains all the relevant requirements, policies and processes relating to registration.

Many of these have already been in place for a number of years, and after extensive consultation since 2008, they are now presented for the first time together in one overarching document.

ASK US ABOUT ‘YOUR REGISTRATION' - WE'RE HERE TO HELP

Everyone's registration experience differs so if you have a query as to how the policy relates to you, just click on the ASK US button on our micro-site.

Include your name, registration number and your query and we'll provide specific advice to help you navigate the way forward with ‘your registration'.

DO ANY OF THE POLICY CHANGES RELATE TO YOU?

To help ensure that teacher registration remains current, meaningful and relevant, changes come into effect in stages from 2012. View the changes here
