Application for Practising Certificate Renewal (TC3)
Who should use this application form?
Use this form if you hold Full registration and:
- You have satisfactory recent teaching experience. This means that you have completed two years of teaching service (in minimum blocks of 10 weeks at a time) in New Zealand in the last five years. You must be employed within the general education system or in a setting approved by the Teachers Council for maintaining full registration. Day to day relief does not count as part of this service requirement; or
- You gained Full registration within the last three years.
If you do not meet the service requirement outlined above and you have previously held Full registration, you will need to reapply for registration under the category Subject to Confirmation (STC) using a TC1 Application Form.
The application processing fee is $220.80 including GST of 15%.
