Application Form and Guide for Registration (TC1)
Who should use this application form?
Use this form to apply for registration if you:
- have recently completed a recognised initial teacher education programme in New Zealand and need to apply for registration and a practising certificate for the first time
- completed a recognised teacher education programme in New Zealand and have not been previously registered in New Zealand (i.e. you are applying for a practising certificate for the first time); or
- currently hold Provisional registration and need to reapply for your practising certificate
- currently hold STC registration and need to reapply for STC registration and a practising certificate
- currently hold Full registration and need to reapply for your practising certificate as you do not meet the requirements to maintain Full registration
If you have submitted a TC2 application to gain Full registration recently and your practising certificate is due to expire within the next two months, you will also need to submit a TC1 application to reapply for your practising certificate.
The application processing fee is $220.80 including GST of 15%.
