Policy
This section of the site contains information on recent developments of, or amendments to, NZ Teachers Council policies. Policies in this section cover all aspects of teacher registration and other professional leadership activities of the NZ Teachers Council.
All policies are developed with the underlying objective of contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of the quality of teachers and teaching. This will in turn contribute to improving the educational experiences of all children and young people in Aotearoa New Zealand
The Council welcomes all comments and feedback on policies from anyone interested in education in New Zealand. Documents published for formal consultation can be found in the consultation section of this site.
