Approved InstitutionsAll teacher education programmes that lead to registration as a teacher must be specifically approved by the NZ Teachers Council. This approval process gives assurance that the programmes meet the NZ Teachers Council standards and that graduates from the programmes will be of good character, fit to be a teacher and likely to be able to meet the Satisfactory Teacher Dimensions.Details of all currently approved programmes are available on the following link maintained by the New Zealand Ministry of Education: Current Teacher Education programmes
